Khums is a tax that is due on income and savings, which is divided into two parts: one for the Sayyid family (descendants of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s)) and the other for religious leaders and the community. About Ch Imtaz Hussain – President & Founder of Khatoon e Jannat

Ch Imtaz Hussain is the dedicated founder and president of Khatoon e Jannat Azadari Jersey City, serving the community since 2011 with his dedicated team. As the heart of our center, he is responsible for organizing and leading all major community events, including Jaloos (processions), Milads, and other religious gatherings. With deep devotion, he serves as the caretaker of the Imam Bargha Khatoon e Jannat in New Jersey, ensuring that the center remains a place of worship, reflection, and community.

Every year, he organizes the Muharram Jaloos, which includes the revered Zuljana Ziarat, Taboot, and Alam processions. These sacred events not only honor the sacrifices of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s) but also bring the community together in remembrance and unity. In addition to organizing these events, he actively reaches out to other communities for their support and contributions, helping raise donations for the upkeep and operational expenses of the Imam Bargha.
